Add Notes while Reading Books on Phone with this free app
If you like making notes while reading a book, you can use Nugget Notes app. This is a free app that can be installed on your phone or browser.
The process of installing the app might take time as you have to request Nugget Notes to create an account for you. To make it happen, you can enter your email address on their website.
Once you receive an email from Nugget Notes, you will get a link to your account in the email. Clicking on that link will take you to the page where you can use the app on the browser.
As shown in the image above, this is how it appears when you click on the link received in your email. You can use the app on your browser to read books and take notes.
But if you want to use the app on your phone, you can scan the QR code located on the top right. Doing so, you will get the app link to install it on your phone.
How to Add Notes?
After launching the app on your phone or browser, it shows a number of books on the homepage. The app has a few featured books and categories. It includes Art & Design, Business & Money, Cook Books, Food & Wine, Parenting & Relationships, and many more.
You can either pick a book from here or add notes of your favorite books. For that, you can go to My notes and Add a new note. The app requires you to mention a few details about the book. You can enter the Book Title, select Category (in which you want to add the book), and write your notes.
Below you will find formatting tips provided by the app. It includes how to use Headers, Emphasis, Lists, Blockquotes, and Links. This will help you to make your notes look organized and written in a good manner.
If you want to keep your note private, you can enable the privacy below. If you don’t, the note can be viewed by the community of book readers. So if you don’t want to make it public, you can keep your notes as private. But if you want to share your knowledge and ideas, you can let everyone read your notes.
In the All notes section, you will see those notes created by the community. By browsing them, you can read their notes to gain some knowledge about the book. You can rate the notes by hitting Heart icon as well.
