Readit is a Windows 10 Reddit client app which is quite popular. This app lets you browse Reddit in a nice interface on your Windows device. The app has some good features for browsing Reddit like secondary tiles, pinning subreddits, customizable theme, etc.
The Readit app can be downloaded easily from the Windows 10 store or from the link given at the end of this article. The first time you launch this app, you will see a interface as shown in the screenshot below.
The front page of the app lists the latest posts from Reddit in a scrollable list. You can click on any post to open it in full screen view. Apart from this you get options to search for a particular topic, refresh the page, add a new post, sort the posts, or go to a particular subreddit at the bottom right side of the app window.
The three horizontal bar icon on the bottom left will bring up a menu like the one shown in the below screenshot.
From this menu you can browse subreddits as they are listed in alphabetical order. If you have a account with Reddit you can log in to your account from here. Explore option lets you view the trending Reddits for the day. The settings option lets you tweak few settings like:
- Updating lockscreen and wallpaper settings.
- Turn toast notification on or off.
- Use of large thumbnails can be turned on or off.
- Change markdown font size.
- Covert GIFs to videos.
- Change link settings.
These were the few amongst many things you can change through settings option.
When you click on a post to view it, the post will open in full window view like shown in the screenshot below.
Here you can up vote or down vote a story, leave a comment, save the post, view it in full screen, share it with your friends, open the story in a browser window, copy the link of this post, or pin it to the start menu using the view sidebar option.
You will also see a jump to option at top left side of the app window. Clicking this option will open up a pop up window like shown in the screenshot below.
This jump to option helps you to jump to any subreddit of your choice. You can search for a particular subreddit, or go to a random subreddit through this option.

Conclusion:
Overall, Readit is a nice app which lets you browse Reddit in a beautiful interface. We covered another one of Reddit clients called BaconIt, which I found to be faster then Readit. The post and images loaded much faster in Baconit as compared to Readit. But Readit also does what it says well and lets you use Reddit in a easy interface.
