SoloLearn is a free Android app to learn programming, photography, marketing, and lots of other skills. To be precise, SoloLearn is a collection of free Android apps with each app focused on helping you learn a specific skill. SoloLearn has a total of 14 Android apps as a part of its bouquet which means you can learn 14 skills with the use of SoloLearn. All the apps include video tutorials along with quizzes which help you learn these skills quickly and easily.
Each of the apps has divided the skill into different chapters with each chapter having further sections. This division helps you in having a better grasp over the topic and understand it well. While learning any skill, app rewards you with points depending on your activities like completing a chapter, section, answering quiz correctly, etc. The app also has a leader board where you can compare your points with other learners using the app.

So, you can see that this app includes Android apps for learning skills across wide range of categories. To learn a specific skill, you have to install the particular app of that specific skill. All the apps from SoloLearn are free to download and use.
While using the app, you have a choice for either registering with the app or not. The registration is required if you want to save your progress so that no matter on which device you use this app, you can continue from the point where you left the lesson.
On launching the app, you will see the home screen of the app displaying the skill divided across number of chapters. You can’t go to higher chapter unless you have completed lower level chapters. Below each chapter, you can also see the number of sections. In the screenshot, I have shown the interface of app Learn HTML.
You have to tap on a chapter name to see the sections included under it. Each of the section displays its name and length of the tutorial video. Just like chapters, you can’t go to any higher section without completing lower ones.
Each of the section is accompanied by a short video which explains you the concepts of the skills you are learning. At the end of each video, you have to answer a question which is asked on the basis of the things explained to you in the video.
This way, you have to complete sections to complete the chapters. On completion of all the sections, you have to solve a module quiz which includes questions from all the sections of a single chapter.
For performing activities like completing section, chapter, solving quiz, etc. you are awarded with points. You can use the leaderboard option to compare your points with others users of the app.
