Get Started With this FPS Game:
Join the America’s Army and earn the Green Beret status by completing individual training and team missions designed by the SFAS (Special Forces Assignment and Selection). The type of trainings you get are: Basic Training, Advanced Marksmanship, Airborne School, Medic Training, and Special Forces Training. The only offline mission available is Spanky Ville. After the training, you will be appointed in Special Elite forces and will be qualified to play the multiplayer mission ranging from 82d Airborne division to 75th Ranger Regiment. Of Course you can play without any training also, I didn’t go through any training but managed to play.
The software you will download is America’s Army 2.5 Assist. So, after installing this, click on download option. Then a 1.9GB download gets started. Even if there’s some break in your internet connection you can resume the download. After your download is completed just create a username and password in the www.battletracker.com site. It’s a very easy and free process. Check your email and activate your account. After that visit the website again and click on My Profile and choose tracker settings. In that Choose PC Games and enter your username in America’s Army 2 Player name option. Press Submit and then go back to the assist software. Enter your Username, Password, and click Login.
Better choose the Training tab to undergo training if you are a beginner in FPS game. You can play all the training sessions offline and the mission also. After you feel you have practiced well, go to the Deploy tab. Choose any one of the server which are active and has players in it and click Join Game.
Use all your training tactics and experience in the battlefield. If you want to play the multiplayer game directly without any training then here are some important controls:

- [.] for leaning right.
- Spacebar for jump.
- [C] for crouch.
- Alt for sprint mode.
- Left Mouse click for Fire.
- Right Mouse click for Zoom.
- [R] for reload.
- [E] for action.
- [3456] for grenades.
- Backspace to leave weapon.
After you join any of the server, a new full screen game will open. Click join in Defense or Assaults team. As you can see in the below screenshot, you can view the scores in score tab. Weapon class, team, map details, server info, and help is also available. After some time the game will start and you will be in the battlefield with your team mates. If you want to create your own server then click on the server tab in the America’s Army assist window. A small software will be downloaded and installed on which you can create your own server.
