Child Growth Tracker is a free Windows 10 health app which compare’s your child’s height and weight to other children in the same age group. The app displays your child’s growth data with growth charts based on CDC data. Based on these charts you are given tips or recommendations for your child’s growth.
The Windows 10 health app can be downloaded from the Windows 10 store or from the link given at the end of this article. When you start this app for the first time you will be asked to add your child’s information on the home page, as can be seen in the screenshot below.
Enter the name of the child, the gender and date of birth of the child. You can also add a photo of your child. Then click the continue button to go to the next screen, which is shown in the screenshot below.
Now enter the height and weight of your child. You can also change the unit of measurement for height and weight through settings or app commands. Just right click on the screen and the unit change option will appear at the bottom left of the window.
Click ok when you are done with this screen. Then you will be taken to the screen with recommendations and growth charts, as shown in the screenshot below.
The first screen here shows the tips and recommendations based on the data that you have entered. Next to it you can see the weight chart of your child in green color. It shows how many other children belong to a percentile above or below this weight range.
The second chart you see when you scroll is the height chart, as shown in the screenshot below.
This chart also shows the height comparison of your child on the chart in green color with other children of the same age group. This also shows the percentage of children above or below the range your child is in.
The last screen when you scroll is the sharing screen, which looks like the screenshot below.
From this screen you can share your child’s growth data with your friends and family.
