FlashQuiz is a free Windows 10 flashcards app for kids to help them learn while playing a quiz. You can even create your own set of flashcards with text, images, sounds, etc. Learning with the help of flashcards boasts your power to remember things better. You can easily share the flashcards that you created with anyone.
You can download this Windows 10 flashcards app from the Windows 10 store or from the link given at the end of the article. The first time you launch this app the window you will see will look like the screenshot below.
As you can see in the above window there are some pre-loaded flashcards which are available for you to play around with. These pre-loaded flashcards are divided in categories like world flags, musical instruments, periodic table, world currencies, world capitals, and James Bond actors. You can play any of these available sets or can create a new set using the plus button at the bottom left corner.
Let’s Create a new set of Flashcards:
Start with clicking the new set button at the bottom left corner. This will open up a window like the one shown in the below screenshot. Enter a title for your quiz, choose a color for the cards, and click on the save button.
After this you will be allowed to add cards to this new quiz. The below screenshot shows how to add a new card to this set.
Add the name, or text to be displayed on the front of the flashcard in the first box. In the second box, you have to enter the answer for reference. If you want to add multiple cards then click on the button save & add more at the bottom of the window. When you are done adding all the cards, click on save button. This will take you to the window as shown in the below screenshot.
All the cards you added are shown on this page together with lots of options at the bottom of the window. These options allow you to edit cards, delete cards, flip cards, shuffle cards, filter cards, order cards, etc.
