This Windows 8 weather app is fast and fluid, and it is quite light weight: just under a MB. Essential Weather provides you with the weather details in 7 days overview or 48 hour overview. The 48 hour overview provides you with detailed graphs that plot the average, max, and min temperature.

Here you are supposed to enter the name of the city whose weather you would like to know and then click on the search button and you will be presented with the set of locations. Click on any one of your choice to add them to the app or you can simply let the app decide by clicking on the ‘Use current location’ button.
After you have entered the location, you will have the interface in front of you as shown in the first screenshot of the interface. Also you are provided with a graph that shows you how the weather has changed in 48 hours.
