Moodflow is a free app for Windows 10 to find music to match your mood. The app lists various moods on its interface and you can select one to match the mood you are in. As soon as you select the mood, a song matching that mood will be played. Some of the moods listed on the app are romantic, angry, in love, positive, relax, crazy, happy, sad, bored, etc. The music is streamed from SoundCloud.
You can install this app from the Windows 10 store or from the link given at the end of this article. After downloading, a window like the one shown in the below screenshot opens up.
How to find music to match your mood using this app:
In the above screenshot you can see that various moods have been listed on the left side of the window for you to choose from. The top part of the window has been kept for playing music and music controls.
The music player has the regular controls in it for play, pause, next, and previous. The three dot icon besides these controls is for adding a song to your favorites list.
On the right side to the listed moods, you will see a list of songs which were last played. Along with it you will also find your favorites list. This can be seen in the screenshot below.
The free version of the app allows you to skip 5 songs in a day only. But it does allow you to change your mood even after using up the 5 song limit for the day.
You can also check out HypeMix to listen to music from independent artists in Windows 10.
Conclusion:
The app is good and helps you listen to music based on your mood. The UI didn’t meet my expectations, I imagined it to be more neatly laid out. The moods list can use some additions. But the app works pretty well and the music played is not always to your liking. But then again you can skip the ones you don’t like.
