What’s The Pic? is a free Windows 8 puzzle game. In this game, pictures are hidden behind tiles. Tapping on particular tile reveals that particular area of the hidden picture. You need to guess the name of the hidden picture by tapping as less tiles as possible. You are given limited number of squares that you can use to tap the tiles.
This puzzle game has 664 different pictures to play. The game has bonus challenge puzzles as well. You can unlock the bonus challenges puzzles by solving the puzzles in lesser number of tiles.
For every correct guess, you are rewarded coins. You can use those coins for unlocking Hints. If you are struck somewhere in the game and you are out of squares, then you can use hints. In this game, you can take three types of hints: Friend, Expose Letter, and Open. The app also lets you take help by sharing the hidden picture on the Facebook and Twitter.
The pictures are known pictures, and in the beginning of the game, you will be easily able to guess the names. But as the level increases so is the challenge of the game.

After launching the game, you will be redirected to the Level 1 of the game. You will find a square board with many tiles. The picture is hidden behind those tiles. Just below the board, there are few dashes. The number of dashes shows the number of letters of the word (the name of the hidden picture). Below dashes, you will find a letter board which contains 15 letters.
You need to use those letters to make the word that is the name of the hidden picture.
The picture is completely hidden behind tiles. Click on any tile, it will reveal that particular part of the picture. similarly, you can click on other tiles to reveal more parts of the picture. For every picture, you are given limited number of squares to reveal the tiles. You need to guess the name of the tile by revealing as less tiles as possible.
If you have guessed the picture correctly, you are rewarded few coins. The lesser number of tiles you will tap, the more will be the coins.
If you are out of tiles and still you are not able to guess the name of the picture, then you can take hints. To take hints, click on bulb icon. It will give you three ways to take hints: Friend, Expose Letter, and Open.
- Friend: In this hint you can mail the picture to any of your friend directly through the app and can ask them to help you out. You can also take help from your Facebook and Twitter friends by sharing the picture with them.
- Expose Letter: In this you can expose any one letter of that word using the coins you have collected in the game. This hint costs you 199 coins.
- Open: This hint provides you one additional tile. This hint costs you 30 coins only.
One more interesting thing about this game is that it has a challenge level. Every 10 levels, you can unlock one square of that challenge level. Guessing the name of the picture of that challenge level will let you earn additional coins.
