Miranda is a free iPhone time zone converter app which lets you check time across different time zones. The app has easy to use and cool interface. The app displays current time of all selected location on a single interface so that you can check each of them at a single place. It can prove to be really helpful in finding best time to call or do meeting when someone you know is living in some other time zone
Apart from just checking current time, you can use this app to compare any point of time For example suppose, its 6 AM currently at your location but you want to check time at any other location when its 9 PM at your location. Then, you can easily do it from app without waiting for 9 PM to happen at your location. The app also displays time zones on map.
You can also share any time with others via email, copy to clipboard, and add it to calendar.
Using This iPhone Time Zone Converter App:
When you will launch the app, you will see a blank White screen with only a wheel at right side. This wheel is for adjusting time when you have added locations to app. To add location, you have to swipe downwards from top to get below shown options.
Tap on Add City to get a search box. You have to enter the name of location in it and app displays suggestions based on your entered alphabets. Tap on the name of location you want to add for saving it to home screen of app. You have to repeat this step every time you want to add a new city.
At the time of addition, each cities current time is displayed by the app. The app displays city of your current location with an arrow mark.
To check time of any city with compared to your current location’s time, you have to use the wheel on right. You can move it up and down to increase/decrease time with difference of 10 minutes interval. If you want to set time precisely like 1:54 then tap and hold the wheel before moving it up and down. You can also tap on +day and -day to increase/decrease the current date of all location.
Depending upon the time set by you for your current location, app displays time for other added cities correspondingly. You can also see the difference in time zone of your location and any other location written in front of them.
If you would like to add any time to your calendar for scheduling meeting, sending by email, or copy to clipboard then tap on Save As option at top right.
Other Options of This iPhone Time Zone Converter App:
When you will swipe from top of app’s interface towards bottom, then you will get a list of 3 options: Details, View Mode, and Time Format.
- Details: Use this option to enable/disable visibility of day and month in front of each location added by you.
- View Mode: Choose from Day, Night, or Auto Mode.
- Time Format: Choose whether you want 12-hour format or 24-hour format.
As I said that this app also displays time zone locations on map. You can get this view by simply turning your iPhone to Landscape mode. The map view is shown in below displayed screenshot.
