This can actually be done using the “Broadcast Message” feature of WhatsApp, as broadcast messages cannot be sent to the contacts who don’t have your phone number stored in their phone. Unfortunately, this trick will only work with the contacts who are using WhatsApp.

How to Find If Somebody Has Your Number in Their Phonebook:
Step 1: To get started, the first thing you need to do is open up WhatsApp and then tap on the “Dotted” icon at the top. After that, simply select the “New Broadcast” option to create a new “Broadcast List”. A broadcast list needs to have at least two contacts, which means you have to select two contacts from the list to proceed with creating the broadcast list.
Step 2: Now, between the two contacts, you need to put one contact for which you want to check whether the contact has your number or not, and add the other contact for which you’re sure that the contact has your number in his phone book.
Step 3: Once you do that, simply type and send a broadcast message. After that, tap on the message and then select the “i” icon at the top to open up the “Message Info” screen. Here, you will be able to see whether the message is read, delivered, or will be delivered to the contacts on WhatsApp.
If you see that it says “1 remaining” under the “Read By” or “Delivered To” section then it means the contact which you want to check dosn’t have your number in his or her phone book. But, if it says “2 remaining”, then it indicates that both the selected contacts in the “Broadcast List” have your number stored in their phone book.
As you can see in the above image, that I have added 2 recipients but it says “1 remaining” under the “Read By” section. This indicates that the other user doesn’t have my phone number stored in his phone book.
