Lipp is a new Android app that lets you add own voice to a video. This app is just opposite to the very popular mobile app, Dubsmash. Where in Dubsmash, you can record selfie videos and add popular sounds or your own voice to those videos, Lipp lets you use any video and add your own voice to that video.
Lipp doesn’t store dubbed videos to the database. However, you can download it on your smartphone. Apart from this, you can also share your dubbed video with friends using Facebook messenger. Almost all features of Dubsmash are covered in this app, but instead of recording short videos with sounds, you will add own voice over a video.
You can choose any video available on the database of Lipp or can upload your own video to insert your voice. However, you should keep in mind that video size must not be greater than 15 seconds.
The above screenshot shows a video selected by me for dubbing and recording progress. This app is also available for iOS devices.
Note: Uploading your own videos is not possible using mobile app. So you have to open web version of this app on your PC and then upload a video.
How To Use This Free Android App To Add Your Voice Over a Video?
It takes only three steps to add own voice over a video using this free Android app. Here are the steps:
Step 1: Grab this app from Google Play Store. You can use this link to access homepage of this app and install it on your Android phone.
Step 2: Open its interface and you will see the list of videos added to this app by users. You can either select a video from the list or can upload your own video.
Step 3: After selecting the video, get ready to give your own voice to that video. Play the video and Press n Hold record button to start adding your voice.
When recording is completed, it provides an option to download it to your mobile phone. Just before download option, you will also see an option to share dubbed video on Messenger.

Conclusion:
Lipp is a fantastic mobile app and will easily catch the attention of users. It’s really interesting and adding own voice over a video is fun. However, I believe there should be some more options available, like upload videos directly using the mobile app, adding videos to Favorites, and sharing videos on Lipp. It will be interesting to check what else comes with its updates.
