Hotel Tonight is a free Windows 8 app to book hotel rooms at last minute quickly and easily. The app lets you browse the hotels of more than 250 cities around the world. All the cities are quite famous touring cities of the world. It displays all the top hotels that have available rooms in the city of your choice. It also lets you check the hotel details along with room details, like: picture of hotel and room, food and drinks, size of the room, recommendations, ratings, etc.
You can book the hotel rooms directly through the app. The app also lets you set the date and days for booking. The app also gives a promo code to avail a discount of around 25$ on booking any room in any hotel.
You can search for any particular hotel and city directly in the app. You can sort the search as per your booking interval i.e. you want to book rooms for 1 night, 2 nights, or more (filter up to 5 nights).

After launching the app, it will ask you to allow it to use your GPS location. Allowing this option lets you check top hotels in different cities around your city.
You can even create your free account in the app for accessing full functionality of the app. However if you are using the app only to find hotels and not for booking purposes, then you can continue using the app without registering.
On the home page of the app, you will find different options: Popular Cities, All Cities, Recently Viewed, etc.
In all cities, you can check the different cities around the world that are available in the app. To check the hotel availability of any city, click on the city, for example: To check the hotel availability of London, click on London from the all cities or from popular cities (if the city is available in the list).
It will display the name of hotels that have rooms available. You can filter the search as per duration of your stay in that hotel. If you are looking for a room for 2 night only then you can use the slider at the top and set it to 2 nights.
The hotels are nicely displayed on the tiles. In each tile you can see the name, photo, and ratings (from HT) of that particular hotel. On the same tile, you can also see the number of rooms and the price.
Besides the name of the city (on the same page), you will find a location icon. Click on the icon to check the location of all the resultant hotels on Bing map.
Click on any hotel to check its details. It will display large photo of the hotel along with ratings and price.
It also displays the pros and cons of the hotel and room’s details, like: size of the room, food and drinks, etc.
To book the room, click on Book option. It will redirect you to a page from where you can book rooms.
