To give it a try, I used 3 types of PDF files:
1) A normal PDF file with text and images: Free PDF to Word converter sent me the converted file within a few minutes. On opening that Word document, I was amazed. It had extracted all the text from original file properly, and had extracted images seperately. Everything was laid out as in the original PDF file, and there was no loss of quality. I could edit all the text I wanted. Simply amazing.
2) A blurred PDF file with lots of images: I was hopeful that Free PDF to Word converter would give some error message for that file. However, it converted that as well, in an intelligent manner. It considered each page of the PDF file as an image, and pasted that on corresponding page of Word document. Of course, text also came as image in this case, but this is not bad at all.
3) A security enabled PDF file: Then I tried a PDF file which had security enabled. It refused to convert that file. Just the way it should be.
