Hashboard is a free and fairly new online application to create photo boards from Instagram photos. All you have to do is search for the desired Instagram Hashtag and Voila! All the pictures from your favorite moments will be displayed in the form of a collage. Created by Jakarta-based ‘design and technology studio,’ Weekend, Hashboard requires using hashtag to record any special moments from your life. It requires little effort to create a photo board! Moreover, the simple and straightforward interface makes it easier to use.
Connecting with Instagram
Before using Hashboard, you will need to have an Instagram account, because logging in to Hashboard needs your Instagram credentials. First, open the Hashboard site and click on the big red button that says “Connect Your Instagram.” You will be redirected to to the login page where you will need to connect to your Instagram account. Feed in your Instagram username and password.
You will be taken to the authorization page, where Hashboard will ask for your permission to access your Instagram profile. Click ‘Authorize.’
Creating a Photo Board from Instagram Photos
This concludes the set up process of your Hashboard account. You will be taken to your (D)hashboard. As you can see, the interface is extremely simple and clean. Creating a photo board is also easy! Just click on the ‘Create New’ button from the top panel.
Now, assuming that you have a fair idea of how hashtag works, and that you have been tagging your photos on Instagram, search for a hashtag that you have created earlier. In order to help myself explain this better, I have uploaded a few pictures on Instagram using the hashtag “#samplesnbs.” Now, when I search for this hashtag, a hashboard will be automatically created with all the tagged pictures. Click on the hashboard name to open it. It will look something like this:

Thus, you can create photo boards of your favorite vacation, events, or even create a travel or food journal.
You can also use Hashboard to follow images based on particular topics. You can create as many hashboards as you like. You can even select the option for ‘Auto-Update’. With this, any new additions under that particular hashtag will be shown on your hashboard.
