Social Colors is a simple webpage that shows colors of all the social networking websites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Yahoo, Google+, Instagram, etc. So, if you are a designer, and want to quickly grab the official color of any popular or non-popular social networking site, just go to this webpage, and grab the color. This is just one webpage, but hugely useful. If you regularly need to make graphics with colors matching the official websites, this is one good resource to bookmark.
This webpage is as simple as it gets. Just go to the webpage, and you will see all the social networking sites, alongwith their colors. Just click on any color to copy its code to clipboard, and then you can use that in your design project.
This website gives you option to choose the type of code that you want to copy. You can get HEX, #HEX, RGB, or RGBA code for any of the listed websites. For that, just choose the relevant option in the top right corner, and then click on the website whose color you want to copy. Voila! Relevant code has been copied to your clipboard.
It might seem that there isn’t much to it, but believe me, I have had a need of such a website for quite sometime. In the absence of this, I used to go to the required social networking site, take its screenshot, then grab the color using a color picker software, and then use in my designs on websites like Canva or Canva alternatives.
Now, I don’t have to do that anymore. I will just go to this website to grab the color that I want.
At the moment, this website has official colors listed for following sites:
- Tumblr
- Yahoo
- Skype
- WordPress
- Vimeo
- VK
- SlideShare
- Google Plus
- Youtube
- StumbleUpon
- Quora
- ProductHunt
- HackerNews
- Medium
- Vine
- Slack
- Dribble
- Flickr
- FourSquare
- Behance
- SnapChat
That’s quite an impressive list, if you ask me.

My Opinion of Social Colors Website:
I love simple things that serve a particular purpose, and this website completely falls in this category. Only additional thing I would ask for is even a longer list of websites that it supports :) Other than that, it works exactly I would want it to. Love it!
