The new delete option appears as a popup button on all the carousel post in Instagram on iOS. No matter if the carousel post is full of all photos, all videos or mixed media type. You can easily edit caption, hashtags, and remove specific photo or video from the collection as well.
Update to the latest version of Instagram on app store and then open it up. Click on the 3 dot icon on a carousel to view the post options.
Select Edit option and then it will take you to the editor.
Here you can now literally edit anything. To remove a specific photo, just touch to slide the gallery and find the photo you want to delete. A delete icon will appear on the top left side of the post and you can tap on that to delete the photo or video instantly.
