Using this version of Windows 8 9GAG app, was quite a good experience. The photos (basically Memes) are very funny. They can make you laugh really hard! One good thing about the app is, it updates on regular basis, so that you’ll get all the latest photos, without manually refreshing the app. The app has a good looking user interface. But you can’t login to your 9GAG account. Basically, the app is made with a view to enable everyone to see the 9GAG images, and the app is quite good in doing so. It is functional. Does what it advertises. Scrolling through the screen to view more images was smooth.
There are thousand of photos that you can get access to. Like I said before there is no signup or login, hence removes cumbersome stuff. Just launch this Windows 8 9GAG app, and you’ll get all the images listed in the Main Screen. The app is just two screen app, the first is the Main Screen itself, and other is the Image Screen. Simply click on the image, and you’ll get directed to that image’s screen. Right click on this screen and you’ll get a flyout at the bottom. This flyout contains buttons for Share, Save, Zoom in and Zoom out. These buttons are very easy to use and are quite self-explanatory.
One good thing here, is, the app shows you tips in this bottom flyout. The tips are basically instructions for using the app. Click on the bulb icon besides the tip, to see more tips.
If you liked an image so much, and want to share it with friends, then click on the Share Button or press Win + H (combo) keys. This opens up the Share Charm. Using which you can share the images. Also you can actually save the images in your hard disk in .JPG format.
