QuickFox Notes is a free Firefox plugin that adds notes taking capabilities to Firefox. QuickFox Notes lets you easily add some notes, and store them as your bookmarks. If you keep your bookmarks synchronized across multiple computers, your notes will also get synchronized automatically. Another Firefox Plugin that works in similar manner is List.It
QuickFox Notes is a very basic and simple to use Firefox plugin. It installs as an icon in your Firefox. Whenever you want to jot down something, just click on that icon. It will open a new notes window for you, and you can quickly type (or paste) your note.
Some other free notes taking applications: Evernote, andCintaNotes.
All your notes are saved in a folder that is integrated with Bookmarks of Firefox. This has one big advantage. If you use utilities like Xmarks or Mozilla Weave to keep your bookmarks synchronized across multiple computers, your notes will also get synchronized automatically, without a need to do anything additional on your part.
QuickFox Notes lets you add only text and links to your notes. You cannot add images, or any other media. This is alright, as QuickFox is geared to be a simple notes taking application (and not a full fledged editor like ScribeFire).
Quickfox Notes provides you with a tabbed interface like Notepad++. You can also search through your notes quickly using the search function.
QuickFox Notes provides you some formatting features as well. You can adjust text size, and background color of notes.
QuickFox Notes is a simple to use and makes notes taking a very easy task in Firefox.
