Pinspiration is a cool app that allows you to access your Pinterest profile from within the Windows 8 Metro environment. When you launch the app, you will be presented with an interface where you can login or sign up by using the tile at the left side of the screen, and view the trending pins on Pinterest.
When logged in, you can then click on these trending pins to open them in full screen view, and you can then choose to download the image, view the next image, like the image, or simply choose to repin the image to any of your boards using the options in the control bar that allow you to do the same. Using this app is ridiculously easy and I’m sure that you’ll love it!

2. Lucky Pin
Lucky Pin is another cool app to access Pinterest on your Windows 8 device. When you launch the app, you will be asked to log in to your Pinterest account, and after logging in, you can start browsing Pinterest, and doing the usual stuff like liking Pins by people, repinning a post to your board, etc. The app supports all actions officially supported by Pinterest, and moreover, it also offers quick links to mostly visited Pinterest pages like Home, Popular, Gifts, Videos etc. at the left panel of the screen. The app supports snapped view for multitasking as well, and all in all, it’s a pretty neat app to have on your Windows 8 device.

Fast for Pinterest is another interesting free Pinterest app for Windows 8. This app was earlier called Pinterest Lite, but was then renamed to Fast for Pinterest. This Pinterest app for Windows 8 has a nice interface that lets you easily search for photos and videos on Pinterest. This app also lets you create pins, as well as share existing pins with other users. You can browse Pinterest using this app as a guest to just look at pins shared by others, or you can login with your Pinterest account to manage your profile and your pins.
