Here is a free Firefox add-on to edit URL parameters in Firefox sidebar. It is named as “URL Envy“. All the keys and values of a URL are visible in the sidebar and then you can customize or edit those items as per your needs. Once you made the changes, press enter and it is reflected in the webpage URL. That also means that URL is updated/refreshed with the new parameters and you also don’t have to leave the tab to check the URL.
Another interesting feature of this Firefox add-on is you can remove any keys/values from URL. Moreover, new keys/values can also be added and then you can use URL with the new parameters. The add-on also lets you change or edit the base URL, so it has multiple benefits.

How To Edit URL Parameters in Firefox Sidebar Using This Free Add-on?
Use the link given at the end of this article to open the add-on homepage and then install it. Its sidebar will appear on the left side. You can also show/hide sidebar using “Ctrl+Shift+U” hotkey.
Now open a webpage or some link. When the webpage is fully loaded, you can see all keys and values and base URL in the separate fields on add-on sidebar. For each key and value, there is a red cross icon. Using it, you can remove any key and value. Or else, you can simply edit any key and value and press enter or Submit button to view the changes in the URL and webpage.
To add new keys and values, the sidebar provides a “+” button. The option to sort keys and values alphabetically is also available in the sidebar which you can use as per your needs.
