Toggle Dark Theme with a Single Click on Windows 10
Easy Dark Mode is very simple to use. The first thing you have to is, check your Windows 10 version (search ‘winver’) as this program only works with Windows 10 version 1803 and never. After confirming the Windows 10 version, download the program and run it with a double-click on the downloaded file. When you do that, the program gets activated and you can access it from the system tray.
Now, there are two ways to use this program to toggle dark mode; Tray Icon and Keyboard Shortcut.
Tray Icon
A single click on the Easy Dark Mode icon from the system tray toggles the dark theme. A right-click on the icon opens the program features where you can switch between themes, enable floating switch panel, customize the program interface, and set the program to autostart on Windows startup. The interface also has a ‘Hotkey’ option that lets you create a custom keyboard shortcut to quickly toggle the dark theme.
Keyboard Shortcut
From the ‘Hotkey’ option, you can create a custom key combination to make a keyboard shortcut. It allows you to create a multi-key shortcut that is helpful to avoid overwriting existing shortcuts common shortcuts.
The above-attached screenshot shows a preview of the quick theme toggle. When you press the Easy Dark Mode tray icon or use the shortkey, it changes the theme. You can press any of both to switch back to the previous theme and so on.
