You can use any JPG or GIF image and can set number of pieces by using available options. Number of pieces for a puzzle also depends on the size of your image. You need to arrange puzzle pieces by rotating them (use left mouse button) and by arranging them in the correct order. Preview of the original image can also be viewed anytime to get the hint.
This software also lets you enable outline for puzzle pieces, shadow, highlight, and sound. Apart from creating and playing the game, you can also save the game as XML file.
EXE Slide
EXE Slide is actually a handy photo converter software. However, it comes with an interesting feature to create jigsaw puzzle. You first need to select a folder containing one or multiple images using its navigation pane. After this, you can use Create puzzle game option available in File menu to save the *.exe file of your puzzle. Whenever you will execute that file, your puzzle will be in front of you.
