One of the good war games and my personal favorite is World of Tanks. In this game you will have garage full of tanks. You have to participate in battles and capture enemy’s flag or destroy their team. Either you win or loose, you earn experience score and silver points. Using those points research your tanks and upgrade them. You can also buy new vehicles after researching the tank or you can sell your old vehicles. You just have to create a login and password to enter in to this World and who knows when you will return back? The only thing that might bother is the download size, that is 4 GB. Sky Battle is a free shooting war game; available for download on your PC. The only goals in this game is: protect your base and destroy the enemies.
In Sky battle you will control fighter planes and your missions include patrolling, destroying, invasion, and more. First you have to choose campaign or quick play mode, then choose any of the teams. This game is specially designed based on the World War 2 theme. The planes and missions unlock when you complete the lower levels. This game is completely offline and you have to play against the computer players. The download size is small but the graphics are quite good.

Hidden And Dangerous:
Hidden And Dangerous is a free strategy war game for PC. This game is also based on the World War 2; where you have to manage your own army men.
In Hidden and dangerous game you have to select your own team members depending on their: Shooting, Stealth, Reaction, Strength, and Endurance. Then you have to supply them guns, ammo, weapons, etc. and then you have to choose four members out of them. You have to manage all the four members and lead them to complete the mission. The game graphics are not so good compared to new games; because it is developed in 2000.

0 A.D. is a free battle war game for Windows, Mac, and Linux. This game is similar to the famous Age of Empires game.
0 A.D. is completely based on historical war style. You have to manage a whole civilization from villagers to soldiers. You have to manage the food, gold, stone, market, and more. You also have to be alert of invasions by other civilizations or else yours might become extinct. After you think you are ready to invade other civilizations, send your team of soldiers or ships to attack other civilizations. Acquire their city center and take control of their civilization. The download size is 350 MB and the graphics, sound effects are also good.
