Picazoid is a free image editing tool for Windows 8 that easily allows you to edit your images by applying a variety of filters and then allowing you to save the image. When you open the app, you will be presented with a blank screen. Here you, can right click on any empty area, and click on the Choose File button to open a file for editing.
Clicking on the Choose File button brings up the screen showed below, from where you can choose the file that you wish to open for editing, and then click on the Open button at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Once your image file has been opened up for editing, you will be presented with an editing widow which contains an extensive list of filters which can be applied to your images.

Tip: If you want to apply more than one filter, you can do so by applying a filter, saving the image, then applying another filter, saving it again, and so on.
Once you have applied the filters, you will be presented with an edited version of your image. You can then save the image by bringing up the control bar and choosing to save the image. Apart from clicking on Save to save the edited image, you can also choose to view the About section of the app by clicking on the question mark button at the bottom-left corner of the screen, or you can choose to open a new file for editing by clicking on Open File button in the control bar.
