Step-1: Go to the website of Sergif
The usual first step towards learning about the website is to visit it. So go to the website of Sergif. When you reach the website, you will see this home screen:
So, this is a single-page website. Hence, you will find all the things on the home screen only. On the home screen, you can see some buttons and one big box in the center.
Step-2: Start recording and create a GIF
Now the next step is to record yourself on the webcam. Just click on the “Start” button on the screen, and your webcam will start recording. You might have to allow the website to access your camera, in the pop-up shown by the web browser. Then you will see your camera reel in the box on the screen. Do the actions which you would like in your GIF. And when you are done, you can click on the “Stop” button.
When you stop recording, the website will automatically generate the GIF out of your recording. So, you don’t have to do anything other than record yourself. The generated GIF will also be displayed in the big square box in the middle of the screen. The website plays the GIF on loop. Therefore, you can check the whole GIF. Step-3: Download the GIF or Record a new one and share its link
You can download the GIF if you like it. There is a “Download” button under the display screen. And the website will save a copy of the GIF, you’re watching on the screen. The (.GIF) file is ready to use. And there is no watermark on the file. So you can use the GIF anywhere without having to worry about removing a watermark or anything like that.
But if you don’t like the GIF, then you can record another one. There is a “Record Again” button under the download and share buttons. Clicking on the button will refresh the page.
