Deep Nostalgia is a free online tool by MyHeritage to animate still photos of your old family members. You can bring back the old vintage photos of your long gone family members to life with this tool. It uses some deep learning/deep fake like concept to create realistic video that you can download. Apart from animating still photos, you can colorize them and even use the enhancement tool to make the image sharp to adapt the modern photography. For free, the generated video will have a small watermark at the bottom of the video, but that shouldn’t be a problem.
Deep Nostalgia puts forward a very nice and interesting use case of deep fakes. The final animated MP4 video that it generates is very realistic and looks quite appealing. Now, you just wait for it to generate the video for you. It will take a few seconds and then it will show you the final video that you play and download. This is as simple as that. You can upload multiple photos and all the photos that upload here will be uploaded in your profile and you can access them anytime.
You can upload any number of photos and then convert them to video with AI motion. The final video will look real in most of the cases. However, some videos may show sign of transition or blurry edges, but that’s okay. If you upload a very good quality photos then I am sure that the final results will be spectacular.
