This article covers a simple method to convert blog to eBook for free. There is a software for Windows, BlogToBook that lets you do that. This is an open source software which you can get from the GitHub. It’s a one-click executable file that runs an installation wizard to guides through the installation process and eventually installs the software on your Windows PC.
BlogToBook can create an eBook either from a blog backup saves as an XML file or from a URL of a live blog on the internet. It fetches a list of all the posts and lets you choose which posts you want to include in the eBook. The online blog support is limited to blogs hosted on Google’s blogspot.com blogger platform. And, the eBook is saved in the EPUB format (compatible with EPUB 3.0).

Convert Blog to eBook Free with This Software
The user interface of this software is based on MS Office 2007. It has three menus at the top whose features are expanded in the ribbon below. And, then it has a sheet where it lists all the article it fetches from the blog input. At the rightmost side of the menu, it gives you an option to choose a style for the UI. These style options basically change the color of the interface.
Blog
The Blog menu covers various options to import the blog and set up the input accordingly. Here, you get two following options to import a blog:
Import from a Backup
This option opens the Windows Explorer and asks you to choose the XML backup file of the blog.
Import from the Web
This option asks you to enter the URL of the blog (hosted on the blogspot.com blogger platform) which you want to convert to eBook. Along with the URL, it also gives you options to Fetch the article from a specific date range. To do that, you can enter the date range in YYYYMM format there.
Once you provide any of the blog input to this software, it lists all the article it can find from that input. Do note that, it takes some time to fetch the article from the web. And, the wider the date range, the more time it will take.
Once fetched, it lists all the article in chronological order. You can sort the articles by other columns as well. Alongside each article, it gives you a checkbox. From here, you can select which article you want to include in the eBook. This tool lists each article as a new chapter in the eBook.
eBook Preview
Once you have all the article checked, you can preview the eBook by pressing the Render button from the Blog menu. This shows you a live preview of the eBook where you can check it from starting to end. You can move back to the article list from here by pressing the Article List button. You can also select the font face for the eBook and choose a font size as well.
Book
Once done, you can save the eBook from the Book menu. This menu has a “Save as EPUB” option which saves the selected articles as an eBook file. Next to this button, there are options where you can enter the title, publisher, author, and other meta info of the book. Enter meta info first and then save the eBook.
Lastly, the Utilities menu gives you several options to get guidelines and links to convert eBook to other formats, add metadata, showcase eBook on the web and more.

This is how, you can easily convert blogs to eBooks for free. Having an entire blog as an eBook lets you enjoy the writing without an internet connection and no distractions. As this software only supports blogspot.com blogger platform so the scope is limit. But, you can use a backup of blogs hosted on other platforms (if possible) and convert those to eBooks as well.
