Gifski is a free app to convert videos to high quality GIFs in MAC. This app takes an MP4 file from you and then creates a high quality GIF from it which you can export as well. This app is very simple and to use it, you just have to use drag-drop operation to start the conversion. Additionally, this app allows you to tweak some parameters such as quality, frame count, etc., for the final GIF.
